IMSIU has launched the Program Entry Assessment, under the supervision of the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, represented by the Center for Testing and Learning Outcomes Measurement, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with implementation continuing until Thursday, April 2, 2026. The assessment targets students enrolled in academic programs, as part of the University's efforts to enhance the quality of its learning outcomes from the earliest stages.

     The Program Entry Assessment aims to measure students' levels upon entry into their academic majors, contributing to the development of an accurate diagnostic profile of their foundational knowledge and skills. This supports informed educational decision-making to improve learning outcomes and enhance the efficiency of academic programs.

     This assessment is part of an integrated learning outcomes measurement system, representing the starting point in the assessment journey. It enables comparison of students' performance between the beginning and end of their programs, allowing for objective, data-driven evaluation of educational impact.

     The assessment is administered electronically in the University's computer labs, according to approved schedules for each college and specialization. It is overseen by the Center for Testing and Learning Outcomes Measurement, in direct coordination with the colleges and the Deanship of Information Technology and E-Learning, to ensure implementation in accordance with the highest quality standards.

     The Program Entry Assessment serves as a strategic tool to enhance the quality of academic programs by enabling colleges to identify students' knowledge gaps at an early stage and address them through targeted development plans. This contributes to strengthening learning outcomes and improving students' readiness throughout their academic journey.

     The Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs emphasized that the results of the assessment will be utilized to support evidence-based continuous improvement plans, reflecting the University's commitment to a culture of measurement and evaluation, academic excellence, and the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, particularly within the Human Capability Development Program.
