As part of its participation in the Biban 2025 Forum, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), represented by its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sea Ventures Company for Business Incubators and Accelerators on Saturday, 8/11/2025, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center. The agreement aims to strengthen joint cooperation in scientific research, training and development, consultancy, and exchange of expertise between the two parties.
The university was represented in the signing by Dr. Yazeed M. Al-Khuraijah, Head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, while Mr. Abdulsalam Al-Kuwaiti, CEO of Sea Ventures, represented the company.
The memorandum seeks to enhance collaboration in developing joint programs in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, supporting student projects, and advancing research initiatives for faculty members. It also aims to enable the university's staff and graduates to benefit from training programs and professional certifications.
Additionally, the cooperation includes designing and implementing joint initiatives and programs in entrepreneurship and innovation, enhancing the university's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club for students and staff, and exploring diverse research areas to build joint project models. In addition, it provides for scientific, research, and technical consulting, as well as supporting and developing student projects and faculty research initiatives, alongside the exchange of knowledge, data, and databases between both parties.
The MoU further includes mutual utilization of centers, facilities, and services of both entities to serve the public interest, collaboration in media and marketing promotion of joint programs and initiatives and opening new avenues of cooperation in the future to advance the strategic goals of both parties.
