 IMSIU Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Khazeen National Company to Enhance Partnership in Scientific Research, Training, and Development


     Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, represented by the College of Engineering, signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with Khazeen National Company, one of GASCO's subsidiaries. The signing took place at the office of the General Supervisor of the General Administration for Cooperation and International Communication.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Nashmi H. Al-Rashidi, while Khazeen National Company was represented by the company's General Manager of Shared Services, Eng. Waleed M Al-Qathami.

     The agreement aims to strengthen institutional cooperation between the two parties in the fields of scientific research, training, development, consultancy, quality assurance, and the exchange of scientific, academic, and technical expertise, contributing to the achievement of their strategic objectives and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

     The agreement also includes cooperation in organizing meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops; exchanging knowledge resources, e-learning tools, and digital scientific materials; supporting training opportunities for university students; cooperating in the development of faculty members' skills; and implementing academic and training programs for administrative leaders and employees of   Khazeen National Company in line with their training and development needs.

     This agreement comes as part of the University's efforts to strengthen its strategic partnerships with the private sector and expand areas of applied cooperation, contributing to improving the quality of educational and research outputs and aligning them with labor market requirements.
