She explained that the University’s Award of Excellence has witnessed significant qualitative development since its launch as a promising initiative aimed at spreading a culture of excellence and encouraging outstanding performance. In response to the university’s strategic direction and aspirations to elevate institutional performance and promote positive competition, the award has evolved through accumulated experience into a well-established institutional practice governed by clear standards and systematic procedures integrated with the university’s governance framework.
Prof. Al-Fayez noted that the award has become an effective tool for embedding a culture of excellence and institutional innovation, contributing to the realization of the university’s vision and future aspirations. She stressed that working within the Excellence Award framework is not routine work, but rather a professional and deliberate endeavor that requires a high level of institutional practice, responsibility, precision, and adherence to fairness and transparency affirming that excellence is not merely a slogan, but a daily institutional practice reflected in decisions, procedures, and details.
She also pointed out that the achievements realized along the award’s journey are an extension of the unlimited support provided by the wise leadership—may God protect them—to the education sector, and of the national approach to excellence and leadership that supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
