Enhancing Knowledge Exchange with Judicial Institutions in Brotherly and Friendly Countries, the Higher Judicial Institute at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) held a specialized judicial training program on Monday morning, February 2, 2026, for judges from the Republic of Indonesia. The two-week program is attended by 32 judges and is being held in the Round Hall, as part of the Institute's initiatives to strengthen international judicial cooperation and promote the exchange of academic and practical expertise.
This program is part of a series of international judicial courses organized by the Higher Judicial Institute for judges from various countries, aiming to highlight the excellence of the judicial system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and enhance knowledge exchange with judicial institutions in brotherly and friendly nations.
The course—marking the seventh program organized specifically for Indonesian judges—was delivered by a group of faculty members from the Institute. It covered specialized theoretical and applied topics designed to enhance the professional competencies of participating judges, develop their judicial knowledge, and familiarize them with the Saudi judicial experience and key related legal practices.
The program seeks to provide judges with specialized judicial training, strengthen the exchange of judicial expertise, and develop both theoretical and practical skills, thereby contributing positively to judicial performance, supporting justice, and reinforcing professional values in judicial work.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of the Higher Judicial Institute, Prof. Abdullah A. Al-Muhammadi, emphasized that the program reflects the University's and the Institute's efforts to disseminate judicial knowledge and enhance international cooperation in the judicial field.
Prof. Al-Muhammadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to HRH the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman—may Allah protect them—for their continued support of the Institute's mission. He also commended the support provided by the Minister of Education, Mr. Yusuf A. Al-Benyan, and the guidance of the President of IMSIU, H.E. Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri.
The organization of this program reflects the Higher Judicial Institute's ongoing efforts to build international judicial partnerships, transfer specialized knowledge, and affirm its leading role as an academic and training center contributing to the development of judicial competencies at both regional and international levels, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
