 H.E. President of IMSIU Honors Retired University Staff in Recognition of Their Academic and Professional Contributions

     H.E. the President of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, honored the University's retired staff for the year 2025 during a ceremony held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his office. The ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the University, Prof. Mansour A. Al-Haidari, the Supervisor General of the General Administration of Human Resources, Prof. Khalid A. Al-Basir, along with a number of academic and administrative leaders.

 

     This recognition came in appreciation of the sincere efforts and distinguished academic and professional careers of the retired faculty members, administrators, and teachers, whose dedicated service contributed to supporting the University's mission and advancing its academic, administrative, research, and developmental activities.

 

     The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an, followed by a speech delivered by the Supervisor General of the General Administration of Human Resources, Prof. Khalid A. Al-Basir. In his remarks, he emphasized that this honoring reflects the University's culture of loyalty and appreciation, and expresses its recognition of staff members who demonstrated outstanding dedication and played an essential role in building and developing the University. He noted that their impact continues through the transfer of expertise and the reinforcement of professional values among future generations. He also extended his appreciation to H.E. the President of the University for his patronage and support, to the Vice President, and to all teams involved in organizing the ceremony.

 

     In his speech, H.E. Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri affirmed that the University takes great pride in its retired staff and highly values their sincere contributions to the development of its academic and administrative systems. He emphasized that the achievements realized by the University are the result of their dedication, integrity, and professionalism, and that this honoring underscores the University's firm commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition. He further noted that the University's institutional values are founded on placing people at the center of development and progress.

 

     Following this, Prof. Ahmed A. Al-Juhaimi delivered a speech on behalf of the retired faculty members, administrators, and teachers. He expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to H.E. the President of the University, the Vice President, and the Supervisor General of the General Administration of Human Resources, commending the support, trust, and professional and humane work environment they experienced. He affirmed their pride in belonging to the University, serving the nation through it, and maintaining their continued connection to the University and loyalty to the wise leadership.

 

     At the conclusion of the ceremony, H.E. the President of the University honored the retirees by presenting commemorative shields, followed by a group photo marking the occasion.

 

     It is worth noting that the number of retirees for 2025 reached 74, including faculty members, administrators, teachers, and wage-band employees. This initiative reflects the University's continued commitment to honoring its staff, reinforcing values of loyalty and recognition, and strengthening institutional belonging.​
