 Under the Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Ambassador to Indonesia, the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences Celebrates the Graduation of 2,998 Students.

     Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Faisal A. Al-Amoudi, the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Indonesia held, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, its graduation ceremony for cohorts (50, 51, 52, and 53), in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia, Prof. Nasaruddin Umar, the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly, Dr. Muhammad Hidayat Nur Wahid, along with a number of ambassadors from Gulf, Arab, and Islamic countries, university presidents, and academic leaders in the Republic of Indonesia.

 

     The ceremony witnessed the graduation of 2,998 male and female students. It commenced with the Saudi royal anthem and the Indonesian national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and visual presentations highlighting the Institute’s journey and achievements.

 

     In his address, Ambassador Faisal A. Al-Amoudi emphasized that the ceremony reflects continued support for education and knowledge, underscoring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to promoting knowledge and strengthening cultural exchange. He noted that the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Indonesia stands as a successful model of academic cooperation between the two countries and a beacon for the dissemination of the Arabic language and the values of moderation, contributing to the preparation of academically and intellectually qualified generations.

 

     For his part, H.E. the Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia, Prof. Nasaruddin Umar, commended the Institute’s role in graduating qualified cadres who carry the message of knowledge. He highlighted that its graduates are not only seekers of knowledge but also bearers of a mission that contributes to building the future and promoting moderate values, reflecting the integration of knowledge, learning, and values in serving societies and meeting their needs.

 

     The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Waleed A. Al-Othman, stated that this graduation marks a significant milestone in the graduates’ journey and the beginning of a new phase of responsibility. He affirmed the Institute’s commitment to preparing qualified cadres who combine solid Islamic foundations with openness to knowledge, contributing to the promotion of moderation and service to society, with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in cooperation with educational institutions in Indonesia.

 

     In their speech, the graduates expressed pride and gratitude for this milestone, which crowned years of dedication and hard work. They affirmed their determination to continue their academic and professional paths and to contribute effectively to serving their countries and communities, inspired by the knowledge and values they acquired during their studies at the Institute.

 

     The ceremony concluded with honoring top graduates and taking commemorative photographs.
