His Excellency the President of IMSIU, Prof. Ahmed S. Al-Ameri, launched on Sunday evening, May 26, 2024, a package of specialized programs at the Skills Development Center of the University. These programs include professional certificates, an academic leadership development program, a professional fellowship program in university teaching and learning, and a program for administrative and academic development.These programs aim to develop and improve the academic capabilities, teaching skills, and scientific research of faculty members and their equivalents. They also aim to develop the administrative skills of university leaders and administrators, and assist the academic and administrative staff in adopting best educational practices and using modern technology.
The university president expressed his thanks and appreciation to the director of the Skills Development Center, commending the achievements and looking forward to the center becoming an important reference in building the academic and administrative staff and developing their professional and scientific capabilities.
Dr. Al-Enezi, the director of the center, appreciated the unlimited support received from the university president, Prof. Ahmed S. Al-Ameri, and his Excellency's keenness to contribute to the development of leadership, professional and academic capabilities at the university. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Vice President for Institutional Development and Social Responsibility, Dr. Kholud F. Al-Tamimi, for her follow-up and guidance, which had a significant impact on the center's role in continuous development and improvement, in order to achieve the effectiveness of these programs in developing specialized training plans that meet the needs and achieve the strategic objectives of the university.
