H.E. the President of IMSIU, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, inaugurated this morning, Monday, February 23, 2026, the permanent exhibition at the Center for Founding and National History Research, located in the Supporting Deanships Building (2), in the presence of the university’s vice presidents and a number of university leaders and staff members.

     The inauguration of the exhibition comes as part of the Center’s efforts to support high-quality scholarly output, enhance historical knowledge, and strengthen national identity, in line with the university’s strategic direction to serve national priorities and advance specialized research.

     The exhibition aims to provide renewed knowledge that contributes to building historical awareness and reinforcing national belonging through active community partnership, while also enhancing the quality and effectiveness of research in this vital field.

     It further seeks to advance knowledge of Saudi history, promote national identity, and support the university’s efforts in research, innovation, and community service.

     On this occasion, the Director of the Center for Founding and National History Research, Prof. Zuhair A. Alshahri, affirmed that the permanent exhibition will serve as a specialized scholarly platform to support researchers and those interested in the history of the Saudi state. He noted that it will contribute to developing high-quality research initiatives and enriching scholarly content related to national history, thereby strengthening the university’s academic standing and supporting the preservation of the national memory.

     The launch of the exhibition represents a continuation of the university’s efforts to advance its high-quality research ecosystem and enhance its intellectual and national role, in alignment with national development goals and its position as a leading academic center of expertise in historical and national studies.
