​     Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) will hold, on the evening of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the IMSIU Award of Excellence Ceremony in its third edition. The ceremony will take place at the Exhibition Hall of the Conference Building on the University campus.

     The Award of Excellence reflects IMSIU's commitment to recognizing distinguished achievements among its affiliates. In its third edition, the award includes five main categories aimed at promoting a culture of excellence, encouraging positive competition, and highlighting outstanding models in academic, research, administrative, and student fields.

     The Award of Excellence seeks to support institutional development and enhance performance levels and output quality through the adoption of best professional and academic practices. This contributes to achieving the University's strategic objectives and strengthening its position at both the local and international levels.

     On this occasion, H.E. Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, President of IMSIU, expressed his sincere appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of the Riyadh Region for his patronage of the Award of Excellence. He noted that the award represents one of the University's commitments to supporting comprehensive development, keeping pace with national transformations, and contributing to the Kingdom's development priorities through building specialized academic competencies, supporting high-quality research, enhancing organizational and administrative efficiency, and adopting an integrated academic approach that supports sustainable institutional growth.

     His Excellency stated that the launch of the Award of Excellence is aligned with the University's strategic plan and reflects its enduring commitment to excellence across all fields and levels. He added that the award aims to promote institutional excellence, encourage administrative creativity, foster a motivating competitive environment, support excellence among academic and administrative units, and highlight exemplary performance models that enhance the University's presence in global competitiveness indicators.

     For her part, Dr. Khulood F. Al-Tamimi, Vice President of the University for Institutional Development and Community Responsibility, stated that the Award of Excellence is not merely a recognition initiative, but a strategic project aimed at embedding a culture of quality and excellence and transforming sustained effort into measurable institutional achievement. She added that the award supports constructive competition and reinforces performance-based excellence across the University.

     The Award of Excellence at IMSIU represents an institutional initiative designed to recognize and encourage creativity and innovation among faculty members, administrative staff, and students. It covers multiple areas, including education, scientific research, administrative work, community responsibility, and institutional excellence, in support of the University's strategic goals.​
