 IMSIU Signs MoU with Thaka Holding to Promote Innovation and Digital Transformation in Education

     IMSIU signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with Thaka Holding, to promote innovation and digital transformation in education. The agreement reflects the University's ongoing efforts to strengthen its strategic partnerships in advanced technologies and to develop its education and research ecosystem in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

 

     The agreement was signed on behalf of IMSIU by Prof. Ali M. Al-Ghamdi, Dean of the College of Education, while Mr. Badr A. Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer, represented Thaka Holding, in the presence of several officials from both sides.

 

     The MoU aims to enhance collaboration in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data governance. It also includes the development of modern academic courses based on adaptive learning technologies to improve the quality of educational outcomes. In addition, the agreement covers the implementation of joint research projects in AI in education and data analytics, the provision of consultancy and training services, and support for technical initiatives that foster innovation within the university environment.

 

     This MoU serves as a framework for joint cooperation, through which future projects and initiatives will be activated via separate implementation agreements. It contributes to strengthening integration between the academic and technological sectors and reinforces the University's role in supporting the knowledge economy and building national capabilities in advanced digital fields.​
