Congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to HRH Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on the occasion of approving the state's general budget for the fiscal year 1441/1442 AH (2020 AD).

He pointed out that this budget comes as confirmation of achieving the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision in diversifying sources of national income, and leading the stage of "economic transformation" adopted by the Kingdom's government, and progressing at a steady pace in accordance with the Kingdom's 2030 vision

He pointed out that the large spending included in the new budget, which exceeded one trillion Saudi riyals, confirms the keenness and determination of the wise leadership to complete the achievement of the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, and its interest in developing services provided to citizens, and improving government services.

By extending the disbursement of the cost of living allowance for an additional year until the end of the year 2020 AD, and allocating 35% of the total expenditures dependent on the health and education sectors, confirming his great interest - may God bless him - for his citizens, and developing the services provided to them because they are always the subject of his care and interest.

The implementation of the system of government competition and procurement will achieve increased efficiency in government spending and better service delivery.

Work between government agencies and the Efficiency Expenditure Center to reduce spending without compromising the quality and services provided.

And it leads to raising the efficiency of public financial management in order to maintain financial sustainability, as well as raising the efficiency of government spending, and focusing on spending priorities with social return.
