 King Abdullah Women's City celebrates the International Volunteer Day

The Vice-rector for Female Students Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nouf Al-Ajmi sponsored the ceremony held at the conclusion of the university’s celebration of the International Day of Volunteering, at King Abdullah Women's City on Thursday 8/4/1441 AH in the Great Hall of the Education Building (321), in the presence of the Center’s Deputy, Dr. Manal Al-Shibl, And the Vice Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Hani Al-Jubeir

The ceremony started with verses from the holy Qur'an, followed by the speech of the center’s representative, Dr. Al-Shibl, in which she thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and his faithful crown prince for their endless support, as well as the university’s rector, and the university’s vice-rectors  for female students, for the facilities and services they provide to increase volunteerism rates at the university Then, the student Rahaf Al-Malabi delivered the speech of the volunteer imam team, highlighting the meaning of human volunteering and its societal returns, after which the initiative (volunteering experts) presented by the Sustainability Marking Foundation was launched, then the eighth level student at the College of Fundamentals of Religion najd Al-Murri her own experience with volunteering , And reduced it to useful, focused points. On the sidelines of the ceremony, the winner of the closing ceremony of the celebration activities of the national day, student Renad Triki, The ceremony concluded with honoring the Vice -rector for Student Affairs for her gracious patronage, and the guests of honor, and the participants of a gratitude and gratitude

These activities, which started in the university city on Wednesday and Thursday 7-8 / 4/1441 AH, coincide with the International Day of Volunteering, and contributed to spreading the culture of volunteerism and active participation in community service, which was organized by the Center for Voluntary Work Studies at the university in the lobby of the main building in King Abdullah City For female students, by setting up an introductory corner about the goals, vision and activities of the center, and the Bunyan Charitable Society aimed at adopting the concept of family development, by providing adequate housing for families in need with a sustainable impact on qualified family members, and hosted the Knowledge Enrichment Foundation, which  is to build young leaders who are able to make impact and lead change in organizations, while Thursday was devoted to internal bodies such as the College of Fundamentals of Religion, the Higher Institute for Call and Accountability, the Faculty of Medicine, the Deanship of Library Affairs, the College of Languages and Translation, as will as the Natural Sciences Club, where Introductory pillars were established and contributions were made in kind and moral, as the College of Fundamentals of Religion through its corner strengthened the spirit of giving, while giving a lot of fun and happiness to cleaning servants, and maintenance in the university city with their participation in the movement games, and providing winter gifts

In the same context, the College of Continuing Education and Community Service held, on the evening of Wednesday, 4/7/1441 AH, a celebration of "Volunteer Day", and the event that was held in the main hall of Building (325) in King Abdullah City for female students aimed to thank volunteers for their efforts, in addition To increase public awareness about their contribution to society.

The event included many distinguished pillars, in which students of the editorial and secretarial diploma level one spoke under the supervision of Dr. Hillah Al-Muhanna spoke about the importance and areas of volunteering, and we distributed winter clothing to cleaning servants, and the staff contained many publications, distributions, gifts, presentations and educational presentations that illustrate the importance of the work Volunteerism, which is reflected positively at the level of individuals and societies, and because of its benefits in building the volunteer’s personality, providing him with different skills nd refine his personality.
