H.E. the President of IMSIU, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, inaugurated today, Monday, May 18, 2026, the “Rawafid FinTech" Exhibition, organized by the College of Business in the university lobby from May 18–19.
The exhibition aims to enhance awareness of financial technology (FinTech) as one of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 under the Financial Sector Development Program. It also seeks to support financial inclusion, increase saving and investment levels, and highlight the transformation taking place in the national economy toward the wider adoption of financial technologies and digital services. This contributes to promoting financial awareness and creating broader opportunities for innovation and digital investment.
The exhibition features the participation of more than 20 companies, alongside accompanying workshops and panel discussions addressing topics such as financial technology, artificial intelligence, financial awareness, and building career paths in the fintech sector. The sessions are led by a distinguished group of specialists and experts and have witnessed strong engagement from visitors, students, and individuals interested in the field.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Mohammed S. Makni; the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman M. Al-Kharashi; as well as several faculty members from the College of Business, graduate students, and university staff.
The exhibition reflects the University's commitment to supporting innovation, fostering financial and digital literacy, and preparing students for emerging sectors aligned with the future of the Saudi economy and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
