Under the patronage and participation of H.E. the President of IMSIU, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, the university celebrated Saudi Flag Day today Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The occasion is observed annually on March 11.
The event included the ceremonial raising of the Saudi flag on the flagpole, in the presence of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Naif M. Al-Otaibi; the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Asmari; and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman M. Al-Kharashi, along with a number of university leaders and staff.
On this occasion, H.E. stated that the Kingdom takes pride in Flag Day, which reflects the proud banner that has embodied the nation's identity and symbolized its unity for more than three centuries. He noted that the Saudi flag carries a rich history of glory, a present filled with achievements, and a promising future shaped by the accomplishments led by the Kings of the Kingdom.
The organization of this event affirms the university's pride in this national occasion and seeks to strengthen the values of belonging and loyalty to the nation and its leadership, while reinforcing the symbolism and significance of the Saudi flag in the hearts of students and university staff.
