Under the patronage of HE Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, IMSIU organized the Nazaha Student Clubs Forum on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day.

On the morning of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the forum was hosted by the Deanship of Student Affairs—represented by the Student Clubs Secretariat—in collaboration with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) and its student clubs in Saudi universities, with support from the University's Student Fund.

The event was attended on the male campus by the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Asmari, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman M. Al-Khurashi. On the female campus, Dr. Ohoud O. Al-Munee, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, attended, alongside several university leaders from both campuses.

The forum featured the opening of an accompanying exhibition with participation from universities and national institutions specializing in integrity and transparency, including Nazaha, University of Tabuk, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh Elm University, Al Yamamah University, Al-Ghad International College, King Saud University, Almaarefa University, Umm Al-Qura University, Majmaah University, Prince Sultan University, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and the Saudi Electronic University. These institutions presented awareness programs and informational displays aimed at promoting values of integrity and familiarizing students with anti-corruption systems and procedures within academic settings.

The forum's program also included a training workshop titled “Transparency: Its Concept and Importance", delivered by Mr. Mohammed A. Al-Kathiri. The session explored transparency as a cornerstone in combating corruption, highlighting its role in fostering institutional integrity, stimulating economic growth, and attracting investment. The workshop addressed both individual and organizational levels of transparency, outlined Nazaha's regulatory structure, reporting mechanisms, communication channels, and transparency enablers in governance, oversight, and development. It also discussed the impact of transparency on service quality, conflict of interest mitigation, and its alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, which positions transparency as a key to enhancing government efficiency and achieving national targets.

The event concluded with the recognition of participating institutions in appreciation of their efforts in promoting integrity and supporting the forum's success.

This forum reflects the university's ongoing efforts to support national initiatives aimed at protecting integrity, instilling ethical and professional values among students and staff, and building an institutional culture that fosters a committed, transparent, and regulations-compliant working environment.
