Dr. Waleed Al-Rodhan, Dean of College of Computer Sciences and Information, has lifted recently his appreciation and acknowledgement to Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, in getting ABET Accreditation “Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology”.
On the reasons behind the lifted appreciation, Dr. Al-Rodhan has clarified that, H.E. the University Rector has offered untired and unlimited support to the academic programs of the college, which came in consistent with the Saudi Vision 2030 that particularly specified that “to provide Saudis with the required knowledge and skills to harmonize the future labour market needs”.
Continued his words, Dr. Al-Rodhan has pointed out that, the getting of ABET accreditation is a shortcoming of the efforts of the college, in providing harmonizing academic programs with the labour market, and contributions and directives of H.E. the University Rector, in enhancing the university’s ranks and programs everywhere.
