H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has signed recently a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement with Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Asmari, Rector of Shaqra University, in the presence of Prince Mamdouh bin Saud Al-Saud, Vice-Rector of Shaqra University, and a number of dignitaries from both universities.
In statements following the signature ceremony, H.E. the University Rector has pointed out that, the inked MoU is a reflection to the initiative of putting force to the partnership between the higher education institutions. It is, also, a response to the aspirations of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, for Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.
He furthered that, the inked MoU aiming mainly to enhance the academical, educational and research aspects between both universities, and to exchange experts and benefiting from the training centres and the consulting services.
In a similar vein, Dr. Awad Al-Asmari, Rector of Shaqra University, has expressed about his happiness for the partnership with Al-Imam University which will extends to include many difference areas. He clarified that; the inked MoU will help achieve a fruitful cooperation between the Saudi higher education institutions, and will increase the cooperation levels especially in respect of the educational process.
