 Summer Applied Diploma Launching by Computer College

​In coincidence with the community service merits, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University representing by its College of Computer Sciences and Information has launched the registration period of enrolment into summer-intensified version of diploma of computer applications, says Dr. Essa Al-Essa, Dean of the Computer College, in statements.

Continued his words, Dr. Al-Essa has pointed out that, the online registration will be open for all members of the community and will be lasting for two weeks until Sunday May 29th and the study will begin on Sunday June 5th. “Curricula of the diploma includes introduction to computer and Windows operating system, Microsoft Word application, Microsoft PowerPoint application, Microsoft Excel application, introduction to internet and email, in addition to e-transactions, social network platforms and cybercrimes”, clarified he.

On the advantages of the diploma program, Dr. Al-Essa has clarified that, it is compatible with the requirements of the technology revolution currently embarked, and it aims to foster a culture of electronic transactions and raising awareness among various segments of society to bridge the digital gap. “According to its importance, information security will be one of the key curriculum within the diploma, along with computer crimes ad it’s dangerous and how to protect from them”, said he.

Clinching his words, Dean of Computer College has stated that, study timetable would be three-days per week and times of lectures were tremendously be scheduling, especially during Ramadan month. Male students will be studying at building of College of Computer Sciences and Information, and female students will be studying at building no “324” at King Abdullah City for Female Student.
