H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has gave his directions recently to establish a new administrative unit for “Risk Management”, to be organizationally positioned under Vice-Rector of Planning, Development and Quality, under heading of Mr. Abdul-Majeed Al-Oumi.
In coincidence with H.E. the university rector directives for establishing the Risk Management, which its cycle include monitoring, review, evaluation and reporting processes, it will helps in reinforcing sound internal control systems in association with the trends of the university toward the National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030.
Praising the step, Dr. Abdullah Al-Samel, Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality, has acknowledged the efforts and contributions of H.E. the university rector, especially in the area of applying the quality standards and concepts inside the university.
In a similar vein, Dr. Abdullah Al-Asmari, Dean of Evaluation and Quality Deanship, has thanked Dr. Aba Al-Khail for his unstinting support to apply the standards of quality and academic accreditation inside the university.
From his side, Mr. Al-Oumi has pointed out that, the unit will be responsible for the study and management of potential risks of projects or decisions or strategic or operational plans, by predicting the risks and develop appropriate solutions based on the standardized studies, to ensure their application when the risk occurred.
