Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has presided on the last Tuesday morning a meeting of the preparatory committee of the conference of “Impact of Enforcing Sharia on Achieving Security”, which will organize by Al-Imam University in tandem with its College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at El-Ahsa.
On the meeting agenda, Dr. Al-Fawzan has stated that, the holding of the conference is in constant with university keenness to fulfil its mission in serving Islam and the beloved country and the community as well as realizing the aspirations of the wise rulers. He, in further, stated that, as the researchers’ proceeding to the conference, it has been delayed until the next month.
On the goals of the conference, Dr. Al-Fawzan has clarified that, it aims, among others, to enrich the scientific research in Saudi Arabia legislations and stating its virtues, and to highlight the role of legislations and regulations to achieve internal security and peace. Additionally, to state the pioneering role played by Saudi Arabia in serving the Islamic world through legislations derived from Holy Quran and Sunnah.
Concluding his words, Al-Imam University Acting Rector has pointed out that, the conference will deal with the efforts of Islamic Sharia and its virtues, as well as manifesting the key role of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Islamic World.
