H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, and Head of Summer Clubs’ Higher Committee, has met recently at his office here with Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes and Vice-President of Summer Clubs’ Higher Committee, for reviewing the periodic reports of the activities of the summer clubs.
In significance with the meeting, H.E. the university rector has reaffirmed the need to reinvent the wheels of the summer clubs, especially in regard of directing students and highlighting the goodness of Islam, which based on moderation and avoiding exaggeration and renunciation. He, additionally, noted that, it’s an opportunity to introduce them with the great efforts and contributions led by king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Minister of Defense.
In a similar vein, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has called all administrators of the student activities and summer clubs to utilize the time and efforts of the junior students, whom are participating at the summer clubs, in implanting the loyalism to their religion, nation and leaders. Moreover, to let them know thoroughly the great strategies of our leaders regarding the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan 2020, added Dr. Aba Al-Khail.
It is worth to mention that, the summer clubs of the university have grown in its numbers to more than 50 clubs this year. It contains several educational, entertainment, skills programs and activities performing under the supervision of an elite of faculty staff members.
