 Al-Imam Council Convenes Its Seven Regular Meeting

​Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Council has winded-up recently its seventh regular meeting, which has chaired by Dr. Fawzan Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam University.

On the agenda of the meeting, a number of decisions have been adopted by the council’s members. In regard of students’ affairs, four postgraduate students has re-admitted. In respect of faculty members, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ousaili has nominated for the membership of the council of Arabic Language Teaching Institute, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Gouai has nominated as a representative of College of Science for the university council, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Anzi has nominated as a representative of Arabic Language Teaching Institute for the university council. As well, two faculty members were seconding to work outside the university, a number of faculty members were gave sabbatical leave to study a foreign language and contract and re-contract with some faculty members, and the approval of some extraordinary requests of some non-Saudi faculty members in regard of the maximum retirement age.  In similar vein, the council has re-located Dr. Fahd Al-Amar to Institute of Islamic-Arabic Science at Indonesia, and Dr. Manie Al-Da’gani and Dr. Muhammad Al-Suaid, in addition to two other faculty members, had approved to work outside the university.

Lastly, the university council has nominated some members to the membership of the university council of investment fund, and accepted the donation of many books to the central library from charity foundation of Sheikh Abdullah Ghunim and Dr. Abdul-Gadder Al-Shekhaili. Likewise, the university council has promoted some employees to 11, 12, 13 and 14 rank.
