Deanship of Academic Research of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has hold lastly the first meeting of the heads of research units at colleges and higher institutes. The meeting, which has been chaired by Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Moqbel, was discussed deeply the action plan of the research units during the current academic year.

The plan’s details including the development of the research capabilities of the faculty staff members and raising their deliverables and publicizing it inside and outside the university. Additionally, it includes putting into force a number of the research projects and programs, as “Priorities of Research and Academic Publishing”, and “Global Publishing Program”, and “Arabian Network of Classifying Arabic Publishing repositories” and others.

At the end of the meeting, which has attended by Dr. Raad Al-Turki, Vice-Dean of Cultural Affairs, and Dr. Ahmad Al-Hazazi, Vice-Dean for Academic Publishing, and a number of dignitaries and officials, discussion on ironing obstacles facing the workflow of research units has took place.
