​The arrangements and exerting efforts of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University to organise the second conference of the preparatory year at Saudi universities have continued as the academic committee of the conference has pursued its regular and follow-up meetings, states Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Namlah, Dean of Preparatory Programs Deanship, and Head of Organizing Committee of the conference, lastly.

Shedding lights on the conference committees’ works, Dr. Al-Namlah has clarified that, they all working hard to bring success to the conference days. He, as well, noted that, H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, and Dr. Fahd Al-Asker, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Academic Research, and Head of Preparatory Committee of the Conference, were often support and encourage the various committees of the conference.

It is worth to mention that, the conference aims to discuss the reality of the relationship between the preparatory years at Saudi universities and public education institutions, and consider the reality of the relationship between the preparatory years within universities. As well as, evaluating the extent to which the preparatory years’ plans and programmes to achieve labour market requirements. Moreover, to assess the overall impact of the preparatory years in Saudi universities outputs, and review the most important local and international experiences in the preparatory year’s data approach to labour market requirements, and how programs and preparatory years would contribute in Saudi Vision 2030.
