In coincidence with the World Breastfeeding Day, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, in tandem with the Female Study Centre and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has organized awareness lecture entitled “Significance of Breastfeeding” on the last Tuesday at King Abdullah City for Female Students.

In significance with the lecture, which has lectured by pharmaceutical Adeeba Al-Zamil and prepared by Dr. Musbaah Muhammad Karim, it has been focused on the importance of breastfeeding for children and to set aside from the infant powder milk and other substitutes. Lecturer has pointed out that; baby gets his/her nutrition through breastfeeding, especially during the first six months, before the start of weaning period.
