​Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has headed lastly the first meeting of the university program for crises and disasters.

Opening the meeting, Dr. Al-Fawzan has shed lights on the idea of establishing the program, which shaped by the last current events and economic turbulence impacts that hits the entire world.

In significance with the meeting, Dr. Al-Fawzan has discussed deeply with the members of the program the obstacle that facing the complementary work among the related entities inside and outside the university, as well as the missing of a clear mechanism between the sectors in regard of information and disasters inside the university.

In a similar vein, Dr. Al-Fawzan has negotiated with the meeting attendants the plans and ideas of the medical services, security and safety and civil defence inside and how to be complementary with the other entities of the university.
