Under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine – the PR Committee in Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, arrangements were took place to observe the Breast Cancer awareness day on the last two days, says Dr. Hassa Al-Rasheed, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Medicine , in statements.
In significance of the campaign day, Dr. Latifa Al-Atyy, Assistant Professor in Medicine Faculty and Consultant of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, focused, in a public lecture, on the significance of each effective person in the community, to each girl, mother, child or youth. Some problems, which face the feeder mother and the nutrition of the mother, have been discussed. She, additionally, explained the early and continuous ways for detection the breast cancer, as well as the following necessary steps ought to be take in treatment.
From other side, Dr. Hassa has said that, these efforts are regularly activating under the auspices of the public relations committee to spread the awareness in the community, which focused on breastfeeding and its importance for the mother and the child.
