Dr. Nasser Al-Hoiml, Dean of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Institute for the Studies on Scientific I’jaz in Quran and Sunnah has won recently the 2016 FUIW Prize for Research Papers on the theme: “Terrorism – Today’s Plague: Causes and Academic and Intellectual Solutions”.
Dr. Al-Hoiml’s FUIW prize, which was awarded to the other winners at the close of the opening session of the 7th General Conference of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, held at the headquarters of the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), has ranked third in the category dedicated to researches.
The FUIW prize ceremony was chaired by H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, and Chairman of the FUIW Executive Council, and Dr Abdulaziz Othman At-Twaijri, ISESCO Director General and FUIW Secretary General, and Dr Jamila El Moussali, Acting Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executive Training of the Kingdom of Morocco.
In coincidence with the won-prize, Dr. Al-Hoiml has acknowledged the efforts of H.E. the university Rector to support and encourage the academic research inside the university.
