​On the recent days, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Pro-Chancellor, International Islamic University , Islamabad (IIUI), has launched at IIUI campus a number of projects including building of Mechanical Engineering department, International Islamic Centre for Media, Researches and Studies, and premises of Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. As well as, Centre of basic applied sciences and the café of faculty staff members.

Commending the launched projects, H.E. the university Rector has reaffirmed the necessity to avail them with great benefit in the advantage of the educational process. "Such launched projects would definitely bring success to IIUI, as Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Chancellor of International Islamic University, Islamabad, often backs the various projects and activities of IIUI", saying H.E. the university Rector.

In a similar vein, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has stated that, IIUI always received due care from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, has hosted a dinner in the honour of Prof. Dr. Sulaiman and IIUI delegation.
