Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has inked lastly at his office here a Memorandum of Understanding “MoU” with Mr. Muhammad Al-Rashid, Secretary-General of King Fahd National Library.
Commending the step, Dr. Al-Fawzan has reaffirmed the keenness of the university to accomplish its mission in serving students and researchers, as well as supporting knowledge and culture and academic research service.
In a similar vein, Dr. Fahd Al-Asker, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Academic Research, has pointed out that, King Fahd Library is a strategic partner in serving the “Arabic Index Project”, which will unleashing by the university under the name of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia soon.
From his side, Mr. Muhammad Al-Rashid has described Al-Imam University as one of the main higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia. He stated that, the signed MoU will focus on the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to pay due care to knowledge and things, as well as developing research and academic features. “King Fahd National Library is strongly supports collaboration trends in respect of “Arabic Index Project”, added he.
It is worth to mention that, Dr. Al-Asker has welcomed Mr. Al-Rashid at his office and discussed with him the collaboration bonds.
