 University Opportunities for Syrian Students Opened

​Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University will begin, starting from the Sunday, February 14, receiving requests from Syrian visiting students to enrol at the university’s wide-range colleges, unveiled Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, in statements.

In significance with the issue, Dr. Al-Fawzan has gave lastly directives to rapidly arrange the launching of the “Program of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Helping Syrian Visiting Students” upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Dr. Ahmad Al-Eisa, Saudi Minister of Education. He noted that, all request would be scrutinizing according to the admission rules and passing the designated exams.

In a similar vein, Dr. Saad Al-Qusaibi, Dean of Admission and Registration Affairs, clarified the admission rules which include; student must not acquiring other university opportunity from Saudi university, a student must not be less than 17 and not more than 25 years old for undergraduate studies. Additionally, a student age must not be less than 30 years old for Master studies, and not more than 35 years old for PhD studies, and a student must attach a copy of the visiting visa, an attested copy of the Secondary School Certificate, and a copy of his personal passport.

Concluding his words, Dr. Al-Qusaibi announced that, the ten-day process of receiving the requests would be starting form Sunday February 14 throughout here.
