On the last Monday, Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has kicked-off at the supporting deanships building a special three-day gathering of “Measuring Health-related Physical Fitness Components”, a gathering that organized and arranged by Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education.
In statements while opening the gathering, Dr. Al-Fawzan has pointed out that, measuring physical fitness is one of the specialized events organized by the university, represented by its Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education, as well as it has grown accustomed to these initiatives in social participation and community service. There is no room for doubt that, this gathering is targeting all the university community, to measure their fitness and learn how much their health is good and what they really need in promoting it.
He clarified that, the gathering participating by more than eight entities from inside and outside the university, including Faculty of Medicine, Saudi Arabian Swimming Federation, Ministry of Health, and others.
It is worth to mention that, the gathering has visited, on its first day, with a huge number of specialized persons in physical fitness as well as students, faculty staff and employees of the university.
