 Dr. Al-Saghyer Presides 3rd Session of Scouting Conference

​Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Saghyer, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Community Service and Information Technology, has chaired recently the third session of the International Conference “Scouting and Volunteering: Theoretical Visions and Applied Experiences”, which organizing by the Saudi Arabia Scouts Association.

In significance with the session, which has come under title “The effect of scout voluntary work on promoting nationalism and values”, Dr. Al-Saghyer has masterminded the presentation of a number of academic papers on the themes: “The role of voluntary work in reinforcing the values of citizenship”; “Scouting programs and their roles in reinforcing the values of voluntary work”; and “Successful experiences of scouting programs that have reinforced values”.

At the end of the session, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahd, Vice-President of Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, has delivered a souvenir to Dr. Al-Saghyer and other participants during the session.
