 Rector Receives Sri Lankan Ambassador

​On this day morning, H.E. Prof. Dr. Sheikh Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, had received at his office H.E. Mr. Muhammad Azmi Tasim, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. H.E. the rector welcomed the guest and kept him abreast of the university role in disseminating knowledge throughout its Sharia, Arab, social, and scientific colleges and its Sharia institutes inside and outside Saudi Arabia.

The rector remarked that the university and its institutes have always been receiving due care from H.M. King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince and H.R.H. Deputy of Crown Prince.

He praised the strong relation between the Governments of two countries in the whole fields, political, economic, educational and academic fields. H.E. the rector, additionally, expressed about his pride by the due care being paid by Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University to the Sri Lankan scholarship students.

From his side, H.E. the Sri Lankan Ambassador has thanked Dr. Aba al-Khail for his cordial welcome and hospitality. They discussed venues of bilateral academic and education cooperation.
