On the coming days, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University representing by its College of Computer and Information Sciences will have kicking-off the registration period of joining the 16th version of the 6-months diploma of computer applications, says Dr. Issa El-Issa, Dean of Computer College, in statements.
Continued his statements, Dr. El-Issa has pointed out that, the online registration will starting from Thursday September 1st, 2016 and the academic classed will begin on Sunday October 3rd, 2016. “Curricula of the diploma includes introduction to computer and Windows operating system, Microsoft Word application, Microsoft PowerPoint application, Microsoft Excel application, introduction to internet and email, in addition to electronic transactions and social network platforms”, clarified he.
On the advantages of the diploma program, Dr. El-Issa has stated that, it is compatible with the requirements of the technology revolution currently embarked, and it aims to foster a culture of electronic transactions and raising awareness among various segments of society to bridge the digital gap. “According to its importance, information security will be one of the key curricula within the diploma, along with computer crimes and its dangerous and how to be protecting from them”, said he.
Clinching his words, Dean of Computer College has stated that, study timetable would be two-days per week and times of lectures were comfortably be scheduling. Male students will be studying at building no “22” at the university campus and female students will be studying at building no “324” at King Abdullah City for Female Student.
