 Dr. Aba Al-Khail Launched Projects of IT Deanship

Lastly, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has launched at his office a package of technical projects prepared by Deanship of Information Technology for all members of the university. The launched projects included, among other, conference system for faculty members, email for students, technical helpdesk, SMS system, and the new French portal of the university.

Praised the efforts of IT deanship, H.E. the university rector has stated that, technology in its entire concept is become one of the necessities of the university, that’s why his administration has paid more efforts in this area and clinched long march of achievements. He, as well, acknowledged the efforts and support of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who waste nothing to launch several initiatives including e-government and supporting Arabic content on the World Wide Web.

From his side, Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Dean of Information Technology Deanship, has thanked Dr. Aba Al-Khail for his continuous support and backing to all his administration activities. He briefed H.E. the university rector about the latest achievements reached by his administration including applying six version of internet protocols (IPv6), as the first governmental institution to apply it all around the kingdom, and acquiring ISO/IEC 27001 certificate. ​
