 King’s Wife Patronized Taj Al-Imam Contest Closing Ceremony

 

 

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Hessa bint Trad Al-Shaalan, Wife of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has organized recently an honoring ceremony for the female students’ winners of “Taj Al-Imam” contest for memorizing Holy Quran and Sunnah.

In the ceremony agenda, , which was organized by Al-Imam University in tandem with its Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education in collaboration of Women Centre for Memorizing Holy Quran and Sunnah, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has delivered a conference-word to the audience. He lauded King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, for their staunch support and follow-up to Holy Quran and Sunnah, a matter that been reflected on the standing of Saudi Arabia and its communities. He, in further, has praised the activities of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Research Chair for Holy Quran, which considers as a beacon among its local counterparts.

In similar vein, Mrs. Ayesha Al-Rajhi, General Supervisor of Women Centre for Memorizing Holy Quran and Sunnah, has thanked H.E. the university rector for his staunch efforts and follow-up to bring success to her administration activities.

From other side, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amer, Dean of Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education, has stated that, “Taj Al-Imam” contest has arranged for preparing generations that memorize the verses of the Holy Quran within its souls, as well as the community is in need for such contests to protect juniors from bad and mislead ideas.  He clarified that, nearly 700 female students were participated in the different branches of the contest, and the final referee panel has nominated 83 female students for memorizing Holy Quran and 14 female students for memorizing Sunnah. Dr. Al-Amer further stated that, 23 female students for Holy Quran and 4 female students for Sunnah has won the final prizes.
