Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Council has clinched recently its fifth regular meeting, which was by Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
In significance with the decisions taken by the council, Dr. Al-Fawzan has stated that, three postgraduate students were re-enrolled, arrangements for exempting relatives of duty martyrs and attributers of Prince Muhammad bin Naif Centre for Counselling and Care had taken, and arrangements of Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education to support military students participating in “Decisiveness Strom Operation” were discussed. Lastly, the student activity plan for 1437-1438 H had discussed.
In respect of faculty members, Dr. Hamad Al-Haza’a services had relocating to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, request of Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan for retirement has accepted, resignation of demonstrator Abdullah Noor has accepted, and termination of other four demonstrators has discussed.
In regard of the academic affairs, the study plan of Master Program of Physics and Study Plan of Biology Bachelor Program at College of Sciences were adopting. Dr. Yusuf Al-Aliouy has nominated for the membership of the Academic Council, representing College of Arabic Language, contracting and renewing contracts of many faculty staff members, contracting with some non-Saudi faculty members, and adopting allowance for Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hanash.
Concerning the research affairs, linking King Abdulaziz Research Chair for Islamic Studies of University of Bologna with Al-Imam University has ratified, four faculty members granted a sabbatical leave, and three faculty members granted a sabbatical leave to study a foreign language, cancelling the sabbatical leave of Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Yusuf.
Lastly, legate and re-legate four faculty members to work outside the university, and seconding Dr. Ahmad Al-Jomaiha to work at Al-Yamamah Press Establishment.
