On the last days, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and who doubles as a Chairman of the FUIW Executive Council, has met with a couple of senior Islamic and academic leaders from Republic of Mali, while attending the Eighth Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Academic Research.
On the meetings, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has met with Prof. Dosa Dyalco, Deputy of Malian Minister of Higher Education, and Prof. Drisa Dyalo, Secretary-General of Institute of Ahmad Baba for Higher Studies and Islamic Researches, and with Dr. Abdul-Gader Arbon, Director of the Institute. H.E. the university Rector has discussed deeply with them the cooperation areas with Al-Imam University, especially in the areas of Islamic researches, training and scholarships.
In a similar vein, H.E. the university Rector has met with Prof. Makki Samaki, Chancellor of University of Languages and Human Sciences, and with Dr. Abdullah Musa, Head of Arabic Language at the University, where he profoundly kept abreast about the ranking and projects of the university. As well, H.E. the university Rector has welcomed their readiness to collaborate fully with Al-Imam University and its wide-range colleges and institutes in the areas of training and professional and academic courses.
From other side, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has met with Dr. Abdulaziz Mega, Secretary-General of Advisory Committee of King Khaled bin Abdulaziz Islamic Institute, and with Dr. Muhammad Al-Bashir, Chancellor of University of Tube and a Representative of Islamic Universities Federation of Mali, which attributing to it seven universities and academical institutions.
It is worth to mention that, five critical memorandum of understandings “MoU” have signed by H.E. the university Rector with Supreme Islamic Council at Mali, University of Languages and Human Sciences, Islamic Universities Federation of Mali, Institute of Ahmad Baba for Higher Studies and Islamic Researches, and King Khaled bin Abdulaziz Islamic Institute. The main target of the signed MoUs is to cement the academic and research collaboration, and organizing the academical conferences and symposiums with the signed parties, as well as supporting Arabic Language and Islamic studies programs and developing them.
It should be noting that, all the meetings of H.E. the university Rector at Bamako, Mali were held at the headquarters of Saudi Embassy, with the presence of H.E. Mr. Masood Al-Harathi, Saudi Ambassador to Mali.
