With the support of Deanship of Giftedness, Creativity and Excellence of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, GteamRyd group has launched, in association with Google Student Ambassador Program, a program of “Student Google Opportunity” at the main hall of building No (324) of King Abdullah City for Female Students.
The program has started with a word of Dr Samah Al-Hakami, Vice-Dean of Deanship of Giftedness, Creativity and Excellence, where she shed some lights on GteamRyd group as a creative idea to employ the passion for technology to enrich the knowledge content.
After that, Mrs. Moda Al-Oud, the first chairperson of Google Club in Saudi Arabia and first Google Ambassador at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has clarified the opportunities and scholarships of Google. She briefed the audience about Google Ad Camp, Google Summer of Code and Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship. She, in additionally, has counted the features of Google Student Ambassador Program as it offering opportunities for students to hone their professional and leadership skills.
