H.R.H. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of King Fahd Board of Trustees Library, has chaired on the last Thursday the 2nd meeting of the board, in presence of H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and head of the Crown Prince Court and special adviser.
H.R.H. Prince Salman and members of King Fahd Board of Trustees Library has agreed on the cooperative agreement between both Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, representing by its Deanship of Academic Research, and King Fahd National Library on the project of “Arabic Citations Index”, attributed to project of Arabian network of collect and classify Arabic publishing channels.
In signfance with the approval, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has delivered his acknowledgement and thanks to H.R.H. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and further has stated that, the kind approval would be with great impacts in contributing to support Arabic content on the world wide web.
From his side, Dr. Fahd Al-Askr, Deans of Higher Studies and Deanship of Academic Research, has lauded the approval of King Fahd Board of Trustees Library, and added that, it will actually realize the aspirations of several researchers and academia all around the world. He further said that, the agreed agreement would affirm the leading role of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting every initiatives targeting Sharia and Arabic sciences.
In similar vein, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Muqbel, Dean of Academic Research, has thanked H.R.H. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz for the bold step taken by King Fahd Board of Trustees Library, which will help built the Arabic Citations Index.
