 AIIT Celebrates World Arabic Language Day

​Arabic-Islamic Institute of Tokyo, affiliated with Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has commemorating, lastly a celebration with the presence of Mr. Taro Kono, Japanese Chairperson of the National Public Safety Commission and Minister in charge of Administrative Reform, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Baraak, Saudi Ambassador to Japan, the World Arabic Language Day.

The event, which adopted by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on the last 2010, is observing annually on December 18.

The celebration’s agenda was included words by Mr. Kono and Mr. Al-Baraak, as well as Dr. Nasser Al-Omaim, Director of AIIT. Moreover, the celebration’s agenda was embodied a culture symposium managed by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Salem and being spoken by Dr. Muhammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, as well as Prof. Dr. Akiko Sumi, Professor at Kyoto Notre Dame University, and Dr. Balqes Tokonaga, Researcher at AIIT.

At the end of the celebration events, AIIT has handed out a number of souvenirs and medals to the participants.
