Within the official Saudi delegation heading by H.E. Dr. Ahmad Al-Essa, Saudi Minister of Education, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Chairman of the FUIW Executive Council, has recently shares success while participating at the eighth Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Academic Research.
The Conference, which was co-organized by OIC General Secretariat and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), a specialized organ of OIC, was held under the high patronage of H.E. Mr Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, President of the Republic of Mali. In his words before the audience, H.E. the Malian President has welcomed the participants and reaffirmed the importance of academical research in the progress of academic development.
In a similar vein, Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Al-Twaijri, Director General of the ISESCO, Secretary General of the FUIW, has greeted all high level delegations, including Ministers, Deputy Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research of OIC Member States, observer states and representatives of international organizations, whom attending the conference. He, as well, acknowledged the key roles being played by Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
The conference, which its theme entitled "Higher Education: Quality and Suitability", is set to adopt important decisions identifying priorities and follow-up actions pertaining to Higher Education and Scientific Research.
