 eLearning Program is Unique and Fully-Featured Regionally; Rector

​eLearning program utilized by Al-Imam University is unique in its features and performance all around Saudi and Arab universities and somehow it considers as unreasonable, but according to its plans and packages it may achieving positively vision and mission of the university, and realizing aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, says H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, in statements recently.    

Words of H.E. the university rector has come on the last Wednesday during the signature ceremony of the first phase of agreement of supplying and installing the elearning program with Harf company for information technology.  

Continued his remarks, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has revealed that, its administration is nowadays  launching the elearning program, which administering by Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education, so as its deliverables will help all members and affiliated-students of the university. He called all officials and administrators to adhere with the quality and perfection of its business. Clinched his words, H.E. the university rector has extended his appreciation to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, for all their efforts and support to help young Saudis. He also, thanked Dr. Khaled Al-Angary, Saudi Minister of Higher Education, for his staunch follow-up and support to the university projects.

From his side, Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam University for Community Service and Information Technology, has praised the effort of H.E. the university rector to bring success to all the university departments and administrations. In similar vein, Eng. Muhammad Al-Gerian, Advisor and General Supervisor of Technical Affairs, has pointed out that, the SR 50 million first phase of the agreement include supplying and installing of the elearning program.

Commending the signed agreement, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amer, Dean of Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education, has noted that, the program aims mainly to benefit from the smart devices owned by almost all female and male students of the university. The strategic goals of the project, which includes two main phases; software programming and preparing smart classes, are to implement high-quality elearning program with continuous advancement; and to pave the elearning ways locally and globally to increase the numbers of affiliates; and to secure deploying digital content of the syllabuses and cement cooperation inside and outside the university; and to support faculty members to provide deliverables and activating it, and to develop the human cadres in elearning programs.

Remarking on the signed agreement, Dr. Ibrahim Abinami, Chairman of Harf Company, has said that, his team statistics on Al-Imam University during the last seven years have revealed that, numbers of affiliated students and lectures had increased tremendously.
