Upon the kind royal approval of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has opened recently a new branch of LIPIA, Islamic-Arabic Sciences Institute at Indonesia, Surabaya City, a port city on the Indonesian island of Java.
In statements, H.E. the university Rector has pointed out that, the last visit of King Salman to Indonesia has reflected the deep mutual respect feelings between Saudi and Indonesian people, that is why there is historic and strategic relations are existing. The world must know that, both Saudi Arabian Kingdom and Republic of Indonesia are working together for serving Islam and Muslims everywhere.
“The reason behind opening the new branch of LIPIA at Surabaya City is for its economical and industrial capabilities and it is consider as the starting point for Islamic societies. It is also interesting in science and knowledge, there is more than 50 universities at the city and this is the bottom line where all junior students of the city will teach the Islamic and Arabic sciences”, said Dr. Aba Al-Khail.
In a similar vein, H.E. the university Rector has reaffirmed that, Saudi Arabian Kingdom seeks to framing and rooting each and every principles of Islam and raises it on its real fundamentals and fixed rules derived from Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). He considers that the curriculum and taught courses for female and male students in all the institutes of the university are the same.
Concluding his words, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has acknowledged the tireless efforts and contributions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. He, likewise, thanked all officials of Surabaya Institute for their diligence and efforts to bring success to the institute’s vision and mission.
In a similar vein, Mr. Lehidan bin Nasser Al-Lehidan, Head of Surabaya LIPIA Institute, has appreciated H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, for his presence in inaugurating LIPIA new branch at Surabaya City.
It is worth to mention that, Dr. Mohammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Collaboration, and many other dignitaries from both the Saudi and Indonesian sides were attended the opening ceremony.
