On behalf of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes’ Affairs, has participated recently at the 10th meeting of the Executive Council of the League of Islamic Universities (LIU).
The meeting, which was hold at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, has chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki, Chairman of the LIU, and Dr. Jaffar Abdul-Salaam, Secretary General of the LIU.
On the meeting’s output, the members of LIU were reaffirmed the need for the common Arab work and has warned about the Shia propagation, supporting by Iran. The meeting was also reassured the necessity to put into force the role of scholars and Ulemas, of all universities, to confronting this devil propagation and all kind of terrorism and extremism.
It is should be noting that, Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University is one of the members of the League of Islamic Universities amongst 150 other Islamic universities.
