 Council of Institutes’ Abroad Deanship Convened Overseas

Under the kind presidency of H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, the Council of Deanship of Institutes’ Abroad Affairs has convened lastly at Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.

The council meeting has emerged a number of decisions that would help highlighting the efforts of Saudi Arabian Kingdom in disseminating the Islamic and Arabic sciences all around the world. The council meeting has recommended converting the Islamic-Arabic Institute at Jakarta to a College, based on a demand of the Indonesian Government, to initiate a separate Arabic Language Department inside the college. Additionally, qualifying the Financial and Administrative Sciences Diploma at Islamic-Arabic Institute at Jakarta and at the Islamic Institute at Djibouti to a Bachelor degree, and to qualify the Sharia and Arabic Language Departments to the Bachelor Degree at the Islamic Institute at Djibouti. 

Lastly, the council has discussed to commence the symposiums and conferences, including the symposium of “Obstacles facing Learning of Arabic Language” at Japan, and a training courses for delegators at the hosting countries to strengthen the cultural and academic aspects.
