​Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has shared lastly successfully its own experience in preparing and establishing the Arabic Citation Index “ACI”, which will have soon launching, at the International Conference of Informatics and Arab Impact Factor, which has organised at Alexandria University, Arab Republic of Egypt, during the last August.

Prof. Dr. Fahd Al-Asker, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Higher Studies and Academic Research, has gave a lecture there entitled “ACI: International Initiative to  Find out an Objective mechanism to Monitor and Classify Arabic Publishing Channels”. 

In his lecture, Dr. Al-Asker has emphasised that, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University backing by its world-class standing and pioneering role, has launched the initiative to serve Arabic language and strengthen its position in the academic and research interaction throughout the world. He, likewise, has showed the reasons behind the creation of the index and its objectives and procession.
