​On the last days, the academic council of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has adopted a resolution unanimously to promote H.R.H. Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Advisor of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Member Staff at Political Legitimacy Department of Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, to a rank of "Professor" in political legitimacy.

It is worth to mention that, H.R.H. Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam has produced a number of researches and papers on the political legitimacy, including "Introduction to Political Legitimacy", "Classifications of Legitimate Purposes", "Rules of Enacting Public Policy", beside an English research entitled "Sharia and Interest Concept.. Usage and Function of Interest in Islamic Fiqh".
